Even though we can see beauty without digging deep, I have always LOVED playing in the dirt and looking underwater to see if I can find hidden treasures. I think these little treasures are made more exciting because of the work required to get to them.

I've been inspired lately by the colours of the black opal. The rich, vibrant base with glints and gleams of bright colours. They are spectacular!
This piece has a base of deep Prussian Blue followed with inks in turquoise, blue, green, bronze, and yellows. There are also splashes of a cherry red.
This is obviously a stament piece and would liven up any room!

This piece is stunning in person as the camera cannot capture the depth of the layers of colour. Although I go to great lengths to accurately depict the colours of the work , the colour in the photos will look slightly different depending on what device you use to view.
