Currently in flower in my garden, these superb 'Bird of Paradise' flowers prompted me to paint their beauty. 3 panels each 30x60cm. The Strelitzia is native to South Africa and also known as Crane Flower. They have long, broad leaves and flower on a rigid stem. The flowers have a brilliant orange and blue-violet plume and add a burst of colour in any garden.
