Translucent clear ocean waters are amazing to be immersed in. On a high visibility day the ocean lets you see far ahead of you into a world of beauty and unique wonders. The soft corals depicted here are reminiscent of the type you will see in Australia’s Coral Bay. An underwater wonderland filled with the most beautiful little fish and delightful scenes all around you. The water so clear you can forget there’s water there.

When painting scenes like this I love to get completely immersed in the process and when the artwork is finished the scene makes you feel immersed in the crystal clear water. A feeling of being transported into a part of the earth that can take your breath away.
