These beautiful lyrics inspired the title of this calming and serene humpback whale painting. Featuring a mother and calf nestled alongside each other the rich blues and teals are a nod to the nurturing relationship.

Acrylic paints have been used to replicate the translucency of water, and then applied in thicker layers to build the solid shapes of the whales. These colours and technique sit perfectly on top of a reclaimed piece of timber which is showing through the art.

It's small 8 x 10" size draws to you in to look closer and see all the small detailing. Pictured alongside partner piece 'Ocean Soul' which was donated to Neurosurgical Research Foundation to raise funds for their vital research.
This artwork is signed on the front and back and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
