The image presented here is based on a promotional photo for the second James Bond film "From Russia with Love" that was used on the original soundtrack cover. I really loved the contrast on the album cover between the cool tones in the photograph and the bright red border around it. The vibrancy of the cadmium scarlet I have used here sets off well against the grey and blue tones below.

The reasoning behind the swirls/marbling of colour on the faces was to mask any obvious depiction of the well known faces so that the observer can then picture themselves being in the film scene.
