Artwork Description

The basis for this landscape was a photograph of a region in Tuscany‚ Italy. I made the decision to turn it into the basis for a Gothic-type image infused with an almost Pop Art/illustrative twist.

The details in the bottom-left corner were based on medieval Italian ornament.
