In this work I wanted all the elements to have an ornamental quality‚ even the clouds. Something new that I have recently utilized in my paintings is typography‚ using ornamented letters. I wanted the overall image to have not only a Gothic/Medieval appearance but almost a comic-book/Pop Art feel with a nod to graphic design and film posters.
