The Australian green tree frog is one of the nation’s largest frogs.
When I was growing up, we had Staghorn ferns that these beautiful glossy green frogs lived in and each warm summer night they would emerge and sit in this pose, waiting for an insect for dinner!
Impasto medium was used to slightly build up the brown tree branch component and give it a little texture against the smooth glossiness of the frog.
Neat, painted canvas frame edges, painted the same dark green as seen in the background of the painting.
No filters are applied to the photographs of this artwork.
Ready to hang, D-hooks and coated wire on back.
Felt corner stickers applied to ensure your wall is protected from any scuff marks from the painting canvas frame wood at back.
Artwork is unvarnished.
