Lately I've really been inspired by the dramatic sunsets with their hues of pink, blue and yellow. As well as the great sculptures of the Greek and Roman empire. The sunset, on the painting, features gold paint on the lower half, representing the beauty and wonder of both the fleeting sunsets and the mastery of the artists of history who created such extraordinary life like statues. The black swirl represents the dream like state the statue seems to exist in.
