A very 'tongue-in-cheek' view of human reactions to not only art, but also unexpected life crisis. Certainly an artwork that can't be overlooked easily - not a 'usual' artwork for me, so I'd love for itt to find an appreciative home, so currently offered at a reduced price.
Sometimes things in our lives, both private and public, get to the point of absurdity. What with art fetching 120k for a banana taped to a wall, and the panic buying of toilet paper. So, what better than an 'emergency' extra roll of toilet tissue, taped to a wall. "Worth its weight in gold?" Red was chosen for the emergency of the situation, and for luck. There is gold 'dust' coming out of the top of the roll, and silver duct tape. Both are metallic colours that come alive and feature when light is directed onto them, otherwise they are dull in colour. So this painting will change with lighting changes. Certainly a talking point, and a sense of humour needed. Quite often it is the toilet that needs a little brightening up, and this would be perfect, especially if it's one used by guests.
SFA (Small Format Art ) and is 12x12". It is great art to hang with meaning for those empty little spaces in your home, or as a feature. It certainly will be a talking point.
Unframed. Ready to hang. Framing is available through Bluethumb.
I'd love to help you with any commissioned work, also. Inquiries welcome. Thank you.
