This warm and luscious landscape with its tangle of blackberries and lush grassy fields, complete with shady trees, and two horses peacefully grazing reminded me of the joyful abundances that life gives us. Hence the name.
Nearly a month to complete, and quite a challenge due to the many fine details and complexity, is something I don't shy away from. I was delighted with the intensity of the colours of the watercolour paints I used. So many that have viewed this are in awe that it is indeed a watercolour painting. I know that this will catch eyes where ever it hangs, as it already does.
The judge's comments on this was 'perfect' - admiring the composition and the way the viewing eye travels through the painting. And, of course, I like to think that that is so. This was a scene I saw often in Eagle Point, Southern Oregon, when living in the USA.
The frame shown is unavailable, but included with it is the professionally cut double mat/mount in a soft ivory white (external size 51x41cm approx.). Framing is an option through Bluethumb.. Mat can be used if framing with your own choice of local framer, saving cost for that. Non-reflective glass may also be a possible option. All hassle-free! Sent flat, not rolled.
All care is taken to represent my artwork, due to monitors, colour, and also size in interior 'in situ' hanging suggestion, can vary. Signed on front, and rear, with COA provided.
