It meant setting my alarm for 4am, in order to get to my local beach, to gather reference images to paint this - horses exercising at dawn. Well worth it when the golden glow of a hot summer day began bathing the beach so softly. The morning light of the water reflections sparkled like diamonds, with the gentle lapping caressed the shore. My time there was rewarded when this woman rider galloped into view. Such a delight to paint!
I watched with glee when painting this - my brush danced joyfully and naturally across the paper, picking up the shimmering highlights of these waters that ebbed and flowed, alive and dancing with their gentle, natural rhythm.

The frame shown is unavailable. However, should you wish framing to be provided, this can be arranged - allowing you to have a custom frame to suit your preference and your intended display area.
