Who doesn't love nature, especially when as peaceful as this. A hidden away, picnic spot, by a creek with rocky pool. No doubt the rocks are centuries old. I loved the waterfall near the top left, and the exit waterfall on bottom right. The leaves changing with the season. Here I think it was new leaves of spring. But absolutely loved the different moss types on the rocks. The sparkle and ripple upon the water as light flickered down among the trees, bathing some in bright light.
I didn't paint every rock and twig and more - it isn't possible but hope I captured the essence of a park I loved to visit for scenes like this, especially as they do calm the soul, and I think that there are definitely times that this is needed, and when so many can't go outside, this is one way to bring the outside in!
More complex to paint than I thought, but I love the challenge, and know I would have succeeded in my rendition if it finds a 'forever' home, and brings a lifetime of joy and appreciation.
Signed on back. Painting black on the sides to add depth..
Ready-to-hang (wire), but can be framed if desired.
