Apparently Galahs, once mated, stay together until one of them falls off the perch so to speak! These two were in the main street of Lorne, Victoria and were quite happy to be photographed and painted. This is oil paint on a suede paper which gives a beautiful buttery quality to the work. The painting is double mounted in white with a thin dark grey undermount and framed in white. Once framed it measures 39cmH x 52cmW.
