Acrylic on stretched canvas, ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
In winter sometimes strong gales blow in from the Southern Ocean. The sea, which in warmer, calmer weather is clear and blue, becomes covered in white foam. The mood is vey different from summer, when people are surfing or swimming in the blue-green breakers. The beach is deserted. I have tried to evoke the feeling of the cold, salt air blowing up from the churning sea.
