Artwork Description
I am fascinated by interesting faces and with this image I wanted to create a work that evolved from 1D to 3D then to fade out to1D again as it was painted over the 300 gsm paper. Using my favourite medium of watercolour I painted layers of tone and intriguing visual textures. I have also used some graphite and pastel marks as a foil for the softer areas in the work. Please enjoy!
This artwork is painted on French Arches 300 gms water colour paper and is ready to frame, it will be shipped in a tube.
