We are fortunate to have many birds visiting our garden at Maleny in Queensland. The Australian Kookaburras often wake us before the first light of day with their riotous laughter. I never tire of photographing them whether at home or in the bush. I have painted this one from a photo that I took across the range at Lake Baroon in Montville.
