Artwork Description

Watercolour on paper

Signed on the front.

For several years I have enjoyed wandering through the beautiful Brisbane Botanical Gardens in Mt Coot-tha and I've captured many videos and photographs there for painting resources and my digital work. I was thrilled to be shortlisted for the gardens Artist in Residence 2018.

This little watercolour I have worked from a phone snap taken on an early morning visit to the gardens. The dappled light splashed around the bamboo island and lagoon, it was quite idyllic.
