Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

I just love a Tawny Frogmouth - don’t you?
The photos are of our old avocado tree, at our last home up here in the Sunshine Coast. The Tawny Frogmouths used to love sitting still in it, similar rugged colours. I crept up surreptitiously to photograph these two, but I love the way the older bird is staying still, ‘being camouflaged’, and keeping an eye on me, while the young one is perked up, like, ‘well hello there!'
