I have been painting animals of late and it all came to a head when I just couldn’t find a way forward with my latest Lorikeets. I did something I never do and abandoned the idea ....I painted over them and went back to the way I love to paint, bringing the background forward and creating an abstract that literally reflects my mood today , everyday really. As an artist it is so important that I stay true to who I am...in fact vital , even if it means that my work is often fragmented, so be it. This is me , take it or leave it ...
