While walking through a conservation park near my studio, looking to remove distractions and reflect on all the love in my life (so grateful), the sun glistened on a stone like diamonds and I was instantly inspired.
My mind wondered to all the precious stones and minerals that the earth creates under rare circumstances. How specific events need to occur for it to manifest into its strong uniqueness that lasts forever. How similar love can be.
Jadeite.
One of two distinct minerals commonly known as jade, jadeite is the rarer and harder variety. Rich emerald-green jadeite, known as “imperial jade,” is also the most highly valued.
