Artwork Description

Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

I love sitting and watching the waves, and this Gold Coast Wave series are from photos I took while enjoying a relaxing break watching the waves roll in. They are an indicator of the passing of time, but also relentless in their arrival on the beach, nothing gets in their way. I love their persistence and their shapes and colours, each the same but subtly different. Nature and the sea are my influence along with a modern take on JMW Turner's seascapes.
