The Hay Bale was inspired by my trip to Yamba, these cattle were having an evening feed, whilst backlit by the warm evening sun late one January. I could not help capturing the moment and making it in to a painting. I love the light and the colours in this peaceful rural view. This piece allows you to dream of quiet country living and warm summer evenings.
