You know, in many ways most if not all creative endeavours are in some way collaborations. They rely on the creations of others and this lovely image is no exception.

It was cropped and played with from an original taken by my friend Loretta who is an artist herself and somehow also finds time to have a flower farm in Queensland. So I offer many thanks to her, as without her amazing flowers and photographs this painting wouldn't have emerged into being.

I think, of all the flower paintings I have painted so far, this one is my favourite. It has a delicacy and joy to it, which uplifts my spirit. This is the focus of my work at this point in time as I feel we need more love, joy and light in a world, that for so many is dominated by fear and and uncertainty.

My hope is that it will lighten and uplift your day and all who might see it.
