Artwork Description

This work was inspired by faces in a crowd becoming so drone like, walking the streets of inner cities, people are expressionless, going about their business, not standing out but just merely existing as another face within the crowd.

This painting was on the front cover and inside features within the British Psychological society monthly journal publication in April of 2012. Until now Karen has stored it in her private collection, but has now decided it is time for it to be released.

Painted in 2012, the painting is a very textured work encompassing the use of chalk, pastel, acrylic paint and crayon as well as the front 3 faces being encased in resin. The work is rich is colour and striking in it's composition would go great in a earthy toned house or placed on natural brick walls etc, it will add a lot of warmth to any room.
