Karen Elzinga is a professional acrylic painter and artist studying a double major degree in Fine Art & Visual Culture from Curtin University of design.

She paints whimsical contemporary abstracts that encompass beach side settings or ocean settings underwater. Her paintings are double painted for amazing colour, durability and aesthetics.

Karen uses only the finest grade professional artist acrylic paints and canvas made in Eumundie Queensland by established canvas makers.

This painting has an environmental theme looking into the effects on marine life from boating activity, there is also a 3D element to the painting with the silver fish at the base being created from wood standing out around 2cm from the work.
