In aboriginal culture woven baskets and carriers were hand crafted and used to transport food,water etc. Animal skin was also used .These carriers were sometimes coated with bees wax to transport water or honey. Depending on the natural environment of a community these woven carriers would be made out a plants or tree bark available . Fish traps were also woven .
