Artwork Description

Acrylic on stretched canvas, ready to hang.

Signed certificate of authenticity.

The Boab tree is my favourite tree, and has been used in Aboriginal culture in many ways. Boab trees are used as a food source, medicine and shelter.
An Aboriginal Dreamtime Story (Karen Davis) tells a story of a beautiful tree that thought it was superior to all the other tree's. The plant kingdom was upset and the God's bewitched the seeds of the Boab causing it to grow upside down.
