Autumn/fall is my favourite time of year. The colours are brilliant, especially in colder climates. York River is in Ontario. The peace, quiet and and beauty of this area is what inspired me to do this painting... the tannin stained waters reflecting the colours of both trees and big sky .. space that brings peace.
This painting has white edges and is ready to be hung as is, in a place of contemplation.
