Artwork Description

Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

On a recent trip to Perth Botanical Gardens in WA, I saw a beautiful plant called the Acorn Banksia. The shape of the flower was most unusual, the base a vibrant orange, and the upper part was a light pink, white cone. It was so striking and unique. I have endeavoured to capture the vibrancy and texture using oil paints.
