One of my favourite things to do is to explore nature. I have been on many a drive or hike in my lifetime through rainforests, bushland, coastal scrub, and mountainous terrain. This painting, titled "The Forest Path", was inspired by the beauty found in nature. It envokes the myriad of colours found amongst the trees, shrubs, and wildflowers...it reminds me of logs covered with fungi and lichens, butterlies flittering through the tree canopy, brightly-coloured birds calling to their friends, and of spectacular sunrises and sunsets in a powder blue sky.
