Watercolour on paper
Signed certificate of authenticity.
When I begin a new watercolour painting , I often just start with some lines and shapes. I drew carefully, and using rulers and templates for the geometric shapes and circles, but the birds are drawn freehand.
They are loosely based on real birds. For instance one of the birds is obviously a rainbow lorikeet. This painting evolved over many weeks. I didn’t finish it in one session. The paper is fine quality watercolour paper, made in France of 100% cotton. The paints are finest artist quality watercolours. This painting requires framing .
