Many watercolour techniques were used in making this painting, and I was testing a new watercolour paper for the first time. My abstract fish paintings are inspired by artists like Paul Klee , who painted in a symbolist style, and Picasso's abstract style. Other influences were the surrealists, who painted dreamscapes. It is the creating of a fantasy world that appeals to me more than painting something which already exists in the real world. This painting is available unframed so that the buyer can choose a frame which matches their own taste and decor. Styled scenes are created with an app, and may not show exact size. Size of unframed painting is 31 cm x 23 cm.
