This is an early work . My style was more direct and simple then. I had just discovered the art of Laurel Burch, and was smitten by her colourful cats. At this time I was also starting to paint big acrylics, and created this for one of my first group exhibitions. It was even sold to a friend, and found its way back to me many years later , when the person who bought it had to downsize. I was so happy to have it back.
The painting has a mat varnish, and is ready to hang. Edges are black, so does not require framing.
