Where I live on the edge of a country town in Australia, we are lucky to have a lot of birds visiting our garden, singing and hunting for food. I have started a series of small mixed media artworks that each feature a different species of native bird.
"Kookaburra Hunting" is a small mixed media artwork on a birch panel, that measures 20 cm high x 25 cm wide x 2 cm deep. It is ready to hang or can also sit on a shelf. The artwork is signed on the side, titled on the back and the sides are painted gold. It has been sealed with a high quality archival satin varnish.
