This artwork is currently exhibited at BCFA Gallery in Putney, NSW

This painting shows a piece of paradise at Lake Conjola that was sadly devastated by the recent bushfires. I am trying to keep some memories alive in some of my paintings.

I love strong bright colours, in particular phthalo blue and often start landscapes on a strongly coloured ground. Using both transparent and opaque layers I try and capture the play of light in the landscape and the atmosphere of the place.

This painting is on stretched canvas and is framed and ready to hang.
