This artwork was influenced by an artist residency to Venice. I was fortunate enough to see a Gustav Klimt exhibition where I saw his beautiful painted women with gold and stunning patterns. This really inspired because because his painting were so rich and decadent. I really wanted to find my own way to portray this.
