Seven Relaxing Budgies- In this piece, I captured the intersection of both worlds; flora and fauna. Inspired by the unusual Banksia, and these blue budgies, my mind saw no horizon. I depicted everything with nice big strokes, as a representation of joy, summer. While the Banksia might seem to be shadowing blue budgies, it is only through the harmony of both the worlds, that this painting acquires such uniqueness. With a colourful foreground contrasted by a more subtle background, this painting springs to life, as you can practically hear budgies' intrigue in the flowers.
