"Brave" first made his debut as part of the Battle Cats series in my recent solo exhibition, Curious Creatures.

This cat is low maintenance - he takes care of himself. But he also takes care of his family and friends. He has faced great adversity in his life, and conquered it all with strength and grace. A true leader.

He has been created in detail using watercolour on smooth, hot press paper. The finished piece has then been adhered to cradled board using an archival process, with the watercolour piece itself being delicately coated in a cold wax medium, so that it does not need to be hidden behind glass. It also has hooks and wire, ready to hang.

This piece would look wonderful in a box frame - and perhaps with some of his buddies by his side. (Check out my other listings to find his Battle Cat Companions).
