“Clouds of My Window ll” is a part of Katherine's interest in the view out her window. She loves to capture the sun in different moments as it rapidly falls down behind the distant mountains. Each minute shows a new display or colour. Each painting is a few minutes apart, but glows in a different way.

The hyper-coloured rendition of the landscape is from a process Katherine follows. She decodes the colours to fabricate a new system of representation. The paintings may appear like a dream-like landscape - but there is a true authenticity to the painting. Painting the reality in front of your eyes is a powerful statement.
