Artwork Description

Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

"Bathing in the Gloaming" by Kathryn Fenton - This Impressionist oil painting inhibits the beguiling waterholes and banks of the Never Never River in the Promised Land of Bellingen, NSW.

In that special part of the day when the sun is saying its last farewell as it casts its final glow and long shadows across the landscape.

The figure finds a secluded spot in a shaded grove along the river to wash off the heat of the day.  Deep in thought, she is unaware of a silent voyeur above in the thicket on the bank.

This work is painted in oils in lively brushstrokes on canvas.
