This woman's vacant stare seems from the Renaissance era somehow; she is detached, perfect, flat and ready for us to gaze at her. I expanded on her palette and went with a square pattern for her fore/background. It seems to reinforce her rigidity. But the browns are soft, and in there are some flecks of turquoise, purple and orange, because of course, there is a soft, warm ocean in all of us.
