After living in a Sydney Unit all my working life, on moving to a country property I lived the joys of a large garden that just kept on producing an amazing amount of flowers! When I shoved these in haphazardly the result just called out to be painted. Soft pink roses are set off beautifully against the black background, something a little unusual in watercolours.
