I use a special MDF. Its solid with a white background which gives more clarity and vibrance to my paint colour.
I paint on canvas and MDF, I love working with the sold background and this is also the best medium to use if I decide to resin the work.

This beautiful and vibrant large abstract quite literally came to life with a botanical influence. Years of photography and inspiration from nature seemed to have evolved somehow. Interestingly after completion it reminded me not only of a beautiful bougainvillia I pass every day on the way to work but some large bougainvilleas we had on a property when we were up in the North West.

Acrylic paint and coated in glossy crystal clear resin. The resin does something incredibly beautiful to the artwork underneath creating another dimension. Framed with impeccable workmanship, this artwork is ready to hang and will bring some botanical vibrance to your home.

Please note: Hours are spent looking after the resin as it cures. I never leave the resin while it is curing and I am constantly blowing out bubbles and removing outside elements as it cures. There will be very tiny specks from any floating dust in the room which is impossible to remove completely. They are not visible with artwork on the wall but I feel is important to let the buyer know.
