This is a portrait of a very handsome bird who sits on a fence near my home waiting for the owner to come out and feed him.. The canvas is larger and rectangular(- both unusual for me) painted with oil paint, using brush and palette knife which gives a textured surface... Would look great with a variety of framing options- natural wood or white or black, or can be hung as is- the 2.5 cm edges are roughly painted with a continuation of the overall design..
