This is a casual composition that I noticed when I stopped for lunch in the middle of setting up a series of still life compositions. I loved the lighting and the casual clutter.. The hand stretched canvas is framed in a beautiful natural ash frame made by Southern Buoy on the Mornington Peninsula (currently just propped in place- will be varnished with a satin varnish before securing in the frame) NB- Update- this piece has been revised with the addition of some gum blossom!
