Do you like flamingos? I love them - their beautiful coral tipped feathers a nd one legged stance and so, when I saw Mary Gerrafrd's beautiful photo, I just had to paint my interpretation. I hope you like it.

Spring Bouquet 2. 41.8 h X 29.5 w. The colours in this posy of flowers represent the first colours of Spring, fresh, revitalsing, ready to greet the new year. I first took watercolour crayons and liquified them, then sprinkled salt to create the interesting textural effects. I hope you like it. Thanks to @insituartroom for the room displays. Remembrance 2. This is the second in a series of poppies for
remembrance.. Their colour mimics the blood shed on the battlefields, and is
recognised worldwide as representing fallen soldiers from any war zone. How sad
such a beautiful flower signifies so much heartbreak and soroow. Created using
only 2 colours of calligraphy ink on paper. Room displays @insituartroomThis is a portrait of a cat named Smudge - My name's Smudge. I think it's because I have a smudge
of blue in my fur to match the blue of my eyes. I'm created in Watercolour and, like
most cats, have lots of fur and whiskers which takes lots of patience and layers to
paint. Thanks to Lisa Heath for photo inspo and room displays by @insituartroom41cms W x 29.5 cms H ' Midnight in the Mountains.' A dark night with only the stars for light, mountain tops and valleys brushed by snow - this is midnight in the mountains. A time of almost mystical beauty before daylight brings everything sharply into focus again. Created in watercolour on Arches paper. Thanks to @insituartroom for the room displays
