Artwork Description

Watercolour on paper

Signed on the front.

This was an experimental pice using liquidised watercolour crayons and salt. I wanted to create a depth of colour in uplifting shades to represent the beauty of Spring's arrival. The salt was used to create interesting tgextural effects

Remembrance 2. This is the second in a series of poppies for
remembrance.. Their colour mimics the blood shed on the battlefields, and is
recognised worldwide as representing fallen soldiers from any war zone. How sad
such a beautiful flower signifies so much heartbreak and soroow. Created using
only 2 colours of calligraphy ink on paper. Room displays @insituartroomThis is a portrait of a cat named Smudge - My name's Smudge. I think it's because I have a smudge
of blue in my fur to match the blue of my eyes. I'm created in Watercolour and, like
most cats, have lots of fur and whiskers which takes lots of patience and layers to
paint. Thanks to Lisa Heath for photo inspo and room displays by @insituartroom41cms W x 29.5 cms H ' Midnight in the Mountains.' A dark night with only the stars for light, mountain tops and valleys brushed by snow - this is midnight in the mountains. A time of almost mystical beauty before daylight brings everything sharply into focus again. Created in watercolour on Arches paper. Thanks to @insituartroom for the room displays41.8cms W x 29.5cms H Flamingo Feather Pillow - Do you love flamingos? I do. I
love the glorious corals of their feathers and their graceful, one legged stance. So,
when I saw Katie Gerrard's amazing photo, I was inspired to create this artwork.
They looked so soft, I just wanted to nestle my head and go to sleep. Lots of layers
and fine lines. Thanks to @insituartroom for the room displays
