Acrylic Paint on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Well! That wasn't easy! Reference photo not the best, as very low res, but I have achieved the goal I set, and that was to paint a detail of a painting I loved. Giovanni Boldini was Italian born artist who lived and worked most of his life in Paris. He was born in 1842 and died in 1931. I just adore his work, stumbling across it whilst looking for another artists work. I love his use of colour and brush strokes. I don't wish to copy his work but just to do a small detail from one of them as a way for me to explore more on my art journey. The original was called Portrait of a Young Woman 1901. Totally beautiful piece. Please enjoy my small detail of his work!
