My own graden has been totally the influence for the last few artworks and I can't get enough of these amazing natives. The birds they are bringing to my garden are a complete joy to watch, although they wake me at a very early hour! I snapped this pic from my balcony and as soon as I saw the resultant photo, I knew that it had to be on canvas. The background is a beautiful rich Burnt Umber and Hooker Green and the photo doesn't really show how gorgeous it is.
The sides are painted to match the main artwork.
